MOUNT VERNON — Brewton-Parker College Chairman of the Board and Acting President Gary Campbell recently released the names of members who constitute the presidential search committee for the 17th president of Brewton-Parker College.
Trustee Lynda Yawn will chair the search team. Three other trustees were named to the special committee. Incoming trustee Dr. Fred Evers serves the Northside Baptist Church in Tifton, Georgia as senior pastor. The Rev. Dannie Williams, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lyons, was also named. The final trustee appointed is Tim Redding, a southeast Georgia businessman. Rounding out the five member committee is longtime Brewton-Parker College faculty member, Dr. Vance Rhoades.
In addition to the five appointed members, Dr. Robert White, executive director and CEO of the Georgia Baptist Convention, and trustee Chairman Gary Campbell will serve as ex-officio members.
