Armstrong adds degree specializing in recreation


SAVANNAH — The College of Education at Armstrong State University will offer a B.S. in Physical Education with a specialized track in recreation and coaching in the spring 2017 semester, which begins on Jan. 9. "This is very exciting for Armstrong," notes Dr. Janet Buckenmeyer, dean of Armstrong’s College of Education. "This program will allow students to explore various facets of human health and well-being, studying exercise physiology, principles of team and individual sports, injury prevention and physical education teaching methods."
