Area students make deans' lists

Martha S. Hancock of Pembroke made the dean’s list at Darton College for the fall 2011 semester. 
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must be full-time and have earned a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.

Mars Hill College
Tyler Nicole Carlson of Richmond Hill was recently named to the Honor Roll of the Academic Dean at Mars Hill College at the end of the fall 2011 semester.
To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 on a minimum of 12 semester hours, and carry no grade below a C.

Texas Lutheran

David M. Soop of Richmond Hill was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Texas Lutheran University.
To make the dean’s list, a student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.

Thomas University

Anna C. Hall of Richmond Hill was recently named to the dean’s list at Thomas University for achieving academic success during the fall 2011 semester.
The honor of dean’s list is attained by full-time students who earn a grade point average of 3.50-3.99.

Valdosta State

The following Bryan County residents were named to the dean’s list at Valdosta State University for the fall 2011 term.
Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on that semester's dean’s list.
