Looking for ways to support and honor U.S. military service members and veterans who protect our security and freedom? In years past, you could wrap up a care package and mail it to “Any Service Member” for the holidays, but with increased mail restrictions, the Pentagon is asking people to help through financial contributions, letter-writing and e-mail, purchasing authorized pre-made care packages, or volunteering time through non-profits.

May 28: RHHS hosts basketball camp  — This year, Richmond Hill High School will host two basketball-camp sessions to separate older and younger campers. Session 1 is May 28-29 boys and girls who will enter kindergarten through fourth grade in the 2015-16 school year. Session 2 is June 1-2, for boys and girls who will enter fifth through eighth grade. Cost is $50 per child and $40 for each additional family member, and there is a $10 discount for each child of Bryan County Schools employees.
