State troopers from the Rincon Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated six traffic crashes during the month of April in Bryan County.
Sgt. 1st Class Nease said the traffic crashes resulted in four injuries and two traffic deaths.

Nease stated troopers from Post 42 also issued 170 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes six arrest for driving under the influence, 101 citations for speeding, 28 seat belt violations and four child restraint violations.  Troopers also issued 137 warnings.

In addition to enforcement activity, Nease said troopers conducted no safety education presentations to promote traffic safety in Bryan County. He said troopers routinely make safety presentations in the counties the post serves.
