RHMS bus struck Thursday afternoon

POSTED: March 9, 2017 8:59 p.m.

A Richmond Hill Middle School bus was hit Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Belfast Siding and Belfast River roads when a driver ran a stop sign, officials said.

Injuries to students were described as minor, but some were taken to a Savannah hospital. The bus driver, reportedly coach Randall Boone, stayed at the scene until all the children were taken care off and then was taken to the hospital by his wife, according to reports.
