Garden Club honors memory of member

The Richmond Hill Garden Club recently celebrated Georgia Arbor Day with a memorial service honoring long-time club member Barry McElveen, who died last September. The club dedicated a Savannah Holly tree to McElveen and placed a plaque in front of it. McElveen, a local businessman, also was active in club projects including the fall Pumpkin Patch fundraiser and placing the bluebird houses in Henderson park.
