Paving underway on Hwy 119

Georgia DOT has begun a paving operation with flagmen for temporary lane closures on Highway 119 from Highway 280 in Pembroke to I-16 in Bulloch County. The project began Sunday night.

The Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) projects an 11 percent increase in the number of people on foot killed on U.S. roadways last year, compared to 2015.
