The Richmond Hill Police Department reports there was a fatal accident at the intersection of U.S. 17 and Highway 144 this afternoon involving four vehicles. The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. An occupant of one of the vehicles was transported to a local hospital where they passed away.
