Santa to visit Ellabell fire station for breakfast event

POSTED: December 1, 2017 11:29 a.m.

County officials are planning a special family-friendly event next month, designed to delight the region’s youngest residents in North Bryan and ensure all attendees are in the holiday spirit.

Bryan County Emergency Services will host Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 16 at Fire Station 7, 5595 Highway 204 in Ellabell. Children can enjoy free pancakes and sausage, provided by BCES, as well as plenty of educational fire-prevention activities and other fun projects.

The guest of honor, jolly old Kris Kringle, will join in the festivities, taking photos with attendees and listening intently to excited little ones recite their Christmas wish lists.

“Bryan County officials are committed to providing residents with a great quality of life and, of course, that includes our youngest citizens,” said County Administrator Ben Taylor. “We invite area families to join us a week before Christmas to share breakfast and enjoy watching their children light up as they meet Santa. It’s a fun way to celebrate the season within the county and there is no charge for families attending.”
