Bryan County High School lost its second straight game Tuesday, falling 3-2 to Toombs County in Pembroke in a Region 2-AA game.

The loss dropped the Redskins to 11-4 overall and 0-1 in 2-AA. Bryan County plays at Toombs County on Friday. The Bulldogs are 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the region, according to Maxpreps.com.

Richmond Hill High School fell 15-0 to Statesboro on Monday in Statesboro in a game that was over in three innings, as the Blue Devils plated six runs in the first inning and nine more in the third to invoke the GHSA mercy rule.

The Wildcats (7-5) played Statesboro at home Wednesday and are back in Statesboro on Friday. The Blue Devils are 4-6 after Monday’s win over Richmond Hill.

Soccer

Bryan County High School’s boys’ varsity soccer team knocked off Metter 2-1 on Tuesday in a Region 2-AA match. The win is the Redskins first this season.

Richmond Hill High School continued to roll. The Wildcats are 7-1 after a 3-0 win over Savannah Christian Tuesday. The Wildcats play host to Dawson Christian on Friday at 7 p.m. and Greater Atlanta Christian on Saturday at

The Lady Wildcats are 4-3-1 after a 6-3 loss to St. Vincent’s Monday. The Lady Wildcats play host to Dawson County at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Greater Atlanta Christian at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Middle school

The girls soccer team at Richmond Hill Middle School is 6-0 after a 9-0 win over Screven County on Tuesday. The Lady Wildcats got a hat trick from Kayla Jackson, two goals from Lauren Groeneck and a goal each from Kiara Bermudez, Ellie Filimonczuck, Sarah Hungerford and Lexie Merry.

The Lady Wildcats play at South Effingham on Monday.
