McDonald’s USA President Jeff Stratton and the McDonald’s leadership team made visits this week to five stores in the Savannah area, including Richmond Hill, to spend time in restaurants and meet with local owner-operators and crew.
During Stratton’s visit, he had the opportunity to reiterate the company’s vision for its employees and encourage employees to share their “My McDonald’s” story of success.
His visit also was meant to help inspire the crew to embrace their passions, set their goals high and create their own path toward success using the tools available through McDonald’s and the mentorship opportunities available to employees.
“The Savannah McDonald’s market is so thankful for Jeff Stratton and the leadership team’s visit, which reinforces the family-like unity of McDonald’s and inspires the crew to pursue opportunities and their dreams,” said Gary Stanberry, Savannah Co-Op president and owner-operator of four restaurants in Richmond Hill and Bryan County.
Stratton, who started as a crew member in Detroit, Mich., has been with the company for more than 40 years.  Many other McDonald’s executives have climbed the corporate ladder through the numerous training and career opportunities McDonald’s provides.
Stanberry and his wife, Jill, also started their McDonald’s careers as crew members.
“In the McDonald’s business, nothing is out of the question with hard work, and Jeff Stratton’s success is a prime example of that,” Stanberry said.
