This sign could mean there isn't a horse playing on the hand rails or bleachers. Which is kind of what you'd expect at a high school football stadium, even in Savannah.

First, note that I've included a photo from Thursday night's Richmond Hill High School - Windsor Forest game. I find the wording of that sign interesting. That's all.

Not sure who the folks were booing when the Windsor Forest kid went down with an injury in the first half, but that was wrong. You see it more and more, though.

So Clemson commit Robert Nkemdiche has decommitted from Clemson. Is that even a word? And why commit if you're only going to commit until something better comes along you can commit to? That isn't commitment, that's weighing one's options and there's nothing wrong with that. But if you're going to commit, commit.

Of course, much as I hate Clemson, I'm happy the kid isn't going there because he can do better. I'm just to the point I think the media hype surrounding major prospects has gone beyond silly. These are teenagers who are going to a school to play a game. That's all. We ask why so many athletes get a warped perspective of their own importance but chronicle their every move -- it takes a special kid to be able to remain humble when everybody around him is telling him how great he is.
