Richmond Hill High School runs away with 49-0 win in opener

Senior Richmond Hill High School running back David Katzman sets sail on a long TD run near the end of the first half of Friday night's 49-0 win over Johnson. Katzman had more than 100 yards rushing in the first half as the Wildcats jumped out to a 28-0 lead and never looked back.

Richmond Hill High School beat Johnson 49-0 on Friday night at Wildcat Stadium.

The Wildcats (1-0) led 28-0 at the half.

Senior quarterback Dominique Allen and senior running back David Katzman each ran for two TDs and Katzman finished with 137 yards on 15 carries. Senior LB Zach Stegner, senior DT Jonathon Thomas and junior defensive back Darius Hall each had five solo tackles. Tommy Washington, Quanzell Blow and Brandon Lahmann had interceptions for the Wildcats, and Blow scored on a 61-yard kick off return for a TD.
