The Richmond Hill Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are investigating the burglary of a Richmond Hill sporting goods store.

Around 3:15 a.m. on July 13, two or more unknown subjects entered Blankenships Sporting Goods and Guns on Edsel Drive and took 27 firearms. The firearms are a mix of handguns, hunting and military style weapons, as well as a shotgun.

The ATF has offered a $7,500 reward for the arrest and conviction of subjects involved in this theft. The Richmond Hill Police Department and ATF are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in this case.

Anyone with information should call Richmond Hill Police at 756-2626 or the ATF at (912)658-5154. Callers may also dial the ATF Hotline at 1-800-ATF-GUNS(283-4867) or contact any local police department. Callers can remain anonymous.
