The following reports are from the Richmond Hill Police Department:

May 30 — Officers responded around 10 p.m. to Parker’s Square in Richmond Hill after receiving an anonymous complaint of a possible drunk driver. Officers watched the driver leave Parker’s gas station and begin to swerve upon turning on Timber Trail. Officers stopped the Richmond Hill woman and she admitted to having alcohol “earlier in the morning.” Officers also asked if she had been taking any prescribed medication and she said no, but later admitted she was currently taking several medications. Officers asked her to step out of the vehicle and she failed to take the vehicle out of drive. She failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Underage possession of alcohol

June 2 — Just before 2:30 a.m., officers noticed a Jeep Cherokee in the parking lot of the Dollar General off of Highway 17. Officers smelled alcohol on the Savannah driver’s breath. The driver and passenger admitted to having several drinks, but neither was of age. The passenger physically refused a breath test and the driver verbally refused. Both were arrested.

June 3 — Shortly after 1 a.m., officers noticed a heavily intoxicated man throwing up in the parking lot of the Motel 6. Officers approached the Asheville, N.C., man and noticed he smelled of alcohol. The man gave an inconsistent birth date and age, and then admitted he lied and was not old enough to drink.
