The Glynn Community Crisis Center will host the 11th annual “A Taste of Glynn” fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort on St. Simons Island
The Glynn Community Crisis Center provides services and support, including Amity House and Hope House, to victims of domestic violence in Glynn, Camden, McIntosh and Charlton counties in southeast Georgia.
Twenty-four restaurants and caterers from Brunswick, Darien, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island will participate in the fundraiser. There also will be a silent auction that features vacation packages, works by local artists, services and more.
Live entertainment will be provided by three musical acts: saxophonist Michael Hullett, The Not Brothers and Three of Us.
Cartoonist Jack Davis will sign copies of his children’s coloring book, “Color Your Way through the Golden Isles with Edgar,” from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the coloring book benefit Amity House and Hope House.
Tickets cost $50 per person in advance and $60 per person on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at locations in Brunswick and on St. Simons Island, or by calling Amity House at 912-264-1348.
