Fort McAllister State Historic Park will have a candle lantern tour from 7-8 p.m. Saturday.

There also will be cannon firings and musket demonstrations all day. Visitors who tour the fort by candlelight will see Civil War soldiers going about their nightly duties.

Participants are asked to stay with their tour guides or they may be captured as a spy. Please do not bring flashlights.

The tour costs $6 for adults and $3.50 for children. Fort McAllister is off Georgia Spur 144 on Fort McAllister Road in Richmond Hill. Visitors should take I-95, use exit 90 and drive east on Hwy. 144 until they reach the Fort McAllister signs.
